This column mailbox will hold small packages approximately 3.5"-4.5"H x 3.5"-4.5"W x 10.5"L. Don't be fooled by the mid range price, this is the best quality mailbox you can buy at any price. Note that the bottom dimension of 19.3" is generally used to determine whether this mailbox will fit the depth of your column. The top generally protrudes slightly forward to provide a drip edge for water runoff but please determine for yourself if this mailbox is a good fit for your column. This mailbox can also be used in a post mount configuration. A non locking thumb latch is available as an option for those who prefer this mailbox in a non locking version. You can insert a padlock into the thumb latch if and when you opt to change it to a locking mailbox.
