Because this high security Mail Boss locking mailbox can be used in a post mounted configuration it includes a flag for outgoing mail. For column installation it is easily removed. An optional masonry flag is shown below. A non locking thumb latch is available as an option for those who prefer this mailbox in a non locking version. You can insert a padlock into the thumb latch if and when you opt to change it to a locking mailbox.
